Beginning and development of professional career
Daniel Antoniuk was born on January 23, 1981, in the City of Brotherly Love. The best years of his youth he spent in Pennsylvania before moving to Massachusetts to pursue an education at Wheaton College.
While studying, Daniel represented the college’s sports team. During those times, he was remembered for his effective attacking play and the record of fifty-four goals scored in two seasons.
At the beginning of the twenty-first century, a team named the Portland Timbers was formed in Portland. Antoniuk was invited to join them due to his successful play “at the helm.” The Philadelphian played 3 seasons for the team. The most productive season was 2004-2005, when he managed to score 13 goals in 24 matches. As a result, that year, he was selected for the All-Star team of the entire tournament in which he was competing.
Later, Daniel Antoniuk terminated his contract with the aforementioned club and joined the Vancouver Whitecaps, although he didn’t stay there long. In the winter of 2012, Daniel Antoniuk joined the Tampa Bay Rowdies from the North American Soccer League. For this current football team, the Philadelphian had one of the best seasons of his career, scoring 9 goals and contributing to 4 others. His effective attacking play helped the Rowdies get closer to a historic event, a triumph in the aforementioned tournament. In the semifinals against the Carolina Railhawks, Daniel scored the winning goal against his former club. He then played for such teams as SD Sockers and FC Tucson. Finally, in the summer of 2018, he ended his professional career with the Tacoma Stars.
